Glacier
Bay National Park and Preserve
The
marine wilderness that comprises Glacier Bay National Park and
Preserve provide ample opportunities for adventure.
Glacier Bay has snow capped mountain ranges which rise to heights of
over 15,000 feet. Coastal beaches, deep fiords, tidewater glaciers,
rivers, streams, and freshwater lakes cover Glacier Bay. This diverse
ecosystem hosts a variety of wildlife, with opportunities for viewing
and research unavailable in other regions of the world.
