Enjoy scenic views of hanging glaciers, whales and other sea life abound. Follow the path of the early gold rush era to the quaint town of Skagway, the jumping off point of the Klondike Gold Rush. Hop aboard an old-fashioned steam train and ride into Yukon Pass, enjoying breathtaking vistas while experiencing part of Alaska’s history. Spend the rest of the day exploring the Skagway's museums, shops and sites.
We'll then travel to Haines, with stops for explorative kayak trips in beautiful bays and fjords. Once in Haines, a pre-arranged shuttle will then take you to the world famous Chilkat Eagle Preserve. From there spend the day enjoying the wonderful town of Haines, Alaska. From there you'll venture South, viewing lighthouses along the way, bears, whales, and an abundance of other wildlife and scenery.

Venture out into nature, cruise along fjords and relax in bays. Kayak with icebergs, have a front row view of Glaciers and glacial calving and enjoy an abundance of wildlife and freshly caught seafood. Soak in natural warm springs to round out the trip while sitting next to a rushing waterfall. As always there will be crab and shrimp pots thrown in hopes of catching Alaska's finest Dungeness Crabs and Spot Prawns.
Enjoy visiting the small Norwegian fishing town of Petersburg on one end of your trip and Alaska’s beautiful and eventful Capital city on the other. We have found this our most popular trip as it gives a very diverse experience of SE Alaska’s inside passage.

Depart, bound for the Sergius Narrows where you'll feel like you can reach each side of land from the boat. Explore the boardwalk town of Tenakee, fish the coast for fresh Sockeye Salmon and soak in natural hot springs. Enjoy the vast beauty of the outer coast while kayaking in private bays, exploring the beaches for washed ashore treasures and best of all watch the most active areas of whales, where they are often breaching, bubble feeding and teaching their young the ways in Alaska waters. Bears are in abundance for viewing while anchored in secluded bays. Finish the trip in Sitka, Alaska's first capital city, with a rich Russian influence, and a guided tour through Totem Park, full of history and a vast forest full of beach front views and Native Alaskan hand carved totems that tell a story of Alaska's history. Sitka is know as one of Alaska’s premier tourists destinations as well as a prime area for saltwater sport fishing excursions. |
